Membership

Membership Requirements:

Adopted December 2019

GENERAL MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:

• Membership is open to persons 18 years of age or older

• Person must hold a valid LICENSE TO CARRY FIREARMS (LTC) or FIREARMS

• IDENTIFICATION CARD (FID) issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

• LTC/FID number and expiration must be listed on application/renewal form.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR NEW MEMBERS#

1. Applicants must supply a certificate of training indicating they have successfully completed a Basic Firearms Safety Course or equivalent training and that the training included live fire.

2. Acceptable Courses are listed below.

   1. NRA Basic Pistol Course - LTC - 002

   2. NRA Personal Protection Course - LTC - 003

   3. S&W MA Carry Permit Course - LTC - 005

   4. Sig Arms Handgun Course LTC - LTC 004

   5. Many other courses are acceptable if they include live five. Any course that typically does not include live fire, but has live-fire added, should have the live-fire reflected on the Safety Certificate issued by the Instructor.

3. If the training did not include live-fire, then an evaluation session to demonstrate safe gun handling proficiency will need to be completed or the applicant must take a course that includes live-fire prior to becoming a member.

4. Applicants must attend a regularly scheduled club meeting and be approved by a majority vote of the members present or receive approval from 3 Board members.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ASSOCIATE MEMBERS

1. A letter on host club letterhead stating that he / she is a member in good standing. The letter is to be signed by an officer of the host club.

2. A valid membership card from the host club stating the members name and expiration date of membership.

3. A law enforcement officer is required to provide a badge number and force or a copy of his / her police ID.

Fees:

• Standard Membership $165 ($190)

• Senior Membership* $90 ($115)

• Associate Membership** $90 ($115)

• Honorary Membership $0

• Family Membership*** $90 ($115)

• Law Enforcement Membership^ $140 ($165) LEO Dept. Affiliation^:

* Members 60 years old and older

** Only Available to Members of the Holyoke Revolver Club or Easthampton Sportsmans Club - no voting rights

*** Only Available to 2nd, 3rd etc. members in same household, Must be same address as full member

****Fees in parenthesis are for new members joining Nov 1st - Dec 31,  and include the following year membership

^ When selecting Law Enforcement Membership you must provide your department affiliation

In consideration of my membership, I hereby release the Northampton Revolver Club, Incorporated and

its members from liability and responsibility for any injury which I may suffer while on the premises

owned or controlled by the Club.

I have received a copy of the Rules and Regulations of the Northampton Revolver Club, Incorporated. I have read and understand them, and hereby agree to be bound by their terms. I also understand that failure to abide by these Rules and Regulations may result in the loss of my membership privileges.

It is time to renew your membership.  All memberships expire on December 31st. 

Everyone wishing to renew must fill out a form and sign at the bottom.  If you have multiple people in the family, please be sure to have each person fill out their own form.
